Paris is a city full of surprises; what you see from the street can mask a completely different world behind the facade. Such is the case with this duplex apartment.
Located in a private park between two old mills in the center of the historic district of Montmartre, the original layout of the apartment did not allow much light to be provided on the lower floor. Thanks to a constructive dialogue with the co-ownership, we were able, by introducing skylights, to design a floor with brighter spaces.
For the interior design we mainly use parquet flooring, beige and off-white shades and a certain number of well-selected pieces of furniture, all creating a calm environment that feels like an escape from the city.
